The Westin Langkawi

I just got back from a much needed vacation with my family. We had a 3 day 2 night stay at  The Westin Langkawi. We travelled via AirAsia from KLIA2 to Langkawi airport. This was the first time traveling with all 3 kids on a flight and safe to say that it was not a pleasant flight ๐Ÿ˜‚ lol. The flight was scheduled at noon, right around the kids lunch and nap time, so you can imagine how cranky they were. But Alhamdulillah we arrived safely at the airport and was greeted by The Westin hotel staff to the hotel vehicle. They took us from the airport straight to the hotel.

As we steppped foot in the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the Gong, cold towels, and fresh fruit juice. Kinda felt like a VIP for once haha. They took us on a buggy to our Villa and was welcome with this treat on top of the stunning Villa! What a warm welcome ❤️

We stayed at this beautiful 2 bedroom Villa with a gorgeous ocean view. The Villa was extremely spacious, and I loved every single detail of the Villa. From the interior timber panels on roof trusses to the pebble finish outside. Each bedroom came with it's own bathtub, shower room, toilet and wardrobe. There was also another room - the TV room which I missed taking a photo of. The kids had so much fun playing in the bathtub, and it was really convenient for us to monitor them right from inside the bedroom.

On the first day we arrived we were too tired to go out so we decided to just get room service and eat in for dinner. The food was overall good, but could've been better. The hotel staff were all really attentive, friendly and warm. The hospitality was top notch ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ. We purposely didn't go out much except for dinner the second night because we just wanted to fully enjoy the Villa.

The next morning we headed to the hotel lobby for the breakfast buffet. I took my camera with me to take photos but completely forgot it because I was too busy stuffing my face๐Ÿ˜‚. The buffet was great, I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The Villa also came with a private pool(which we made full use of!) , and as you go down the stairs, it leads right to the hotel's private beach. Oh I could just lay there on the sand and stare at the sky for hours. It was so relaxing and the best part was we had the beach pretty much to ourselves.

We hopped on the hotel buggy and took the kids to the playground and the kids room. The kids had a blast, no doubt. They got to colour printouts handed to us by the staff, and even got free balloons!

There was also so many other facilities including the gym, BBQ service, spa & massage, tennis court, and list goes on.

Overall this has been the best hotel Villa I've ever stayed in. And to top it off, we got to stay in the Westin Lounge in the airport while waiting to board the plane. I've never really stayed in this kind of a luxury hotel so it was a new experience for me. I never even knew these services existed before this! Lol. *jakun moment* It was nice to have a comfortable private waiting area when traveling with small kids, away from the busy airport crowd. I know every parent would appreciate  this kind of luxury.

Thank you The Westin Langkawi for the hospitality and I will definitely be coming back!(if my bank account permits it or anyone wanna sponsor me๐Ÿ˜‚)
Best family vacation this year!

Take me back!❤️❤️❤️
