Torn

Salaams ya'll!!! have you missed me?:p I apologize for the lack of updates, I've been in hybernating mode and haven't been in the mood to write any new blog posts lately. Plus I am now at a point in my life where I feel like I want to change professions. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but I somehow feel like I'm meant for something else. Right now I just don't feel challenged, I feel like my job is not allowing me to be who I really want to be(if that makes sense).

Hrmmm. I dont know. I'm torn. I want to take the risk and venture into new territory. But I'm too afraid of failing.

Oh Allah, please give me strength.

  2. i know its hard but its advice i should take myself..
don't be afraid of failing.. better to fail at something you tried your best to do, rather than not trying at all. and if you learn from your 'failure', then it isnt really failure at all, but success :)

  3. salam dear,
are you planning to settledown as a housewife or to be an interior designer?
i wish i can be you, it has been my dream to be an ID, but turned up i've became an engineer, which is not really me. i love that job, but i don't 'feel' it, if you know what i mean.

so i've made my mind to teach. i am currently pursuing master studies to be one.

i totally understand how u feel. never stop dreaming and make your dream comes true, aishah ;)

  6. salam aisha,it looks like almost every1 feels like you are feeling at the moment.but the most important thing is to know what you want to venture into & been focused on it.more importantly you should have the passion for it coz then, the fear of failue will be irrelevant coz u know nomatter what insha'Allah you gona make it.e.g am now in customer care service but i've develop interest in antique buz & am planning towards it.all i can say is go get it gurl, & do istigharah Allah is always there to guide us

I suggest going for career counselling? to an educational psychologist. That really helps. i have tried it.
